Reiki classes offered at The Whole Life Center with Karen Harrison are constantly forming! If you have ever wanted to take Reiki classes and expand your knowledge, now is the time. Reiki classes are structured training sessions designed to teach individuals the principles, techniques, and practices of Reiki healing.

Reiki classes are typically led by Reiki masters or certified teachers who guide students through a series of lessons and attunements to empower them to practice Reiki effectively. Reiki is of Japanese origin – Rei, meaning spiritual consciousness, and Ki, which means life force energy. It helps a person’s natural ability to heal physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. It’s essential to choose a qualified and experienced Reiki master or teacher who resonates with your goals and values. Karen Harrison is a Senior Licensed Reiki Master Teacher with the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT) and teaches all levels of Usui / Holy Fire® III Reiki, including Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki® Master. She is also a Co-Director of the Licensed Reiki Master Teacher Training Program for the ICRT and a Mentor Teacher. Karen has also written numerous articles for the Reiki News Magazine. She began studying Reiki in 1993 and has studied with several ICRT teachers and Japanese Reiki Masters: Hiroshi Doi, Hyakuten Inamoto, and Mrs. Chiyoko Yamaguchi. Karen offers classes at Whole Life Center regularly, and those classes include:

• Beginning Reiki Classes – Usui/Holy Fire III, Reiki I, and Reiki II: Reiki 1 and 2 are taught together during a two-day intensive session. This class is a combination of lectures, experiences, and discussions. You’ll receive practice time to practice using all the techniques as well, covering things such as:
  • What is Reiki, and how does it work?
  • The Holy Love experience.
  • The history of Reiki and the Reiki hand positions.
  • The empowerment of Reiki through attunement/placement.
• ICRT Animal Reiki I & II: a two-day workshop where you will learn to offer Animal Reiki to all species of animals. This energy is different from human Reiki as it includes Animal Reiki Placement. To take this Reiki class, you must complete level 2 Reiki. This class discusses things such as:
  • Receive Animal Reiki placements for 1 & 2.
  • Become a qualified Animal Reiki Practitioner.
  • Receive the Animal Reiki symbol.

• USUI/Holy Fire III Reiki Master: This course is for Reiki practitioners wanting to strengthen their healing energy. By the end of the 3-day intensive, you can teach Reiki I through Master – if you choose. This class requires six months of practice at the Reiki II level. You will accomplish this during your three days:
  • Receive the ‘Healing in the River of Peace Experience.’
  • Receive the placement for the Usui Master symbol.
  • Use crystals and learn how to make a Reiki grid to send Reiki continuously.

• ICRT Animal Reiki Master: this 3-day Reiki class provides Animal Reiki energy, plus tools and techniques needed to practice with animals and teach Animal Reiki with skill and expertise. Upon completion of this course, you can teach Animal Reiki I & II and master classes – both in person and online. The prerequisites for this course include completing Animal Reiki 1 and 2 and a human mastery level. This 3-day course includes:
  • Learn additional skills to help heal animals with Reiki.
  • Receive four ignitions to the Animal Reiki Energy.
  • Receive experiences and meditations.

• Holy Fire III Karuna Reiki Master: this new form of Reiki introduced by the ICRT – both powerful but gentle and provides purification, healing, and guidance. Karuna, meaning “compassionate action,” is a profound, gentle, healing energy. You must have six months of practice and integration at the master level. During this 3-day Reiki class, you will:
  • Learn 4 level one symbols, 4 level two symbols, and the Karuna Master symbol.
  • Practice giving and receiving Karuna using the symbols.
  • Learn how to incorporate chanting and toning into sessions.

Each level of Reiki classes is a journey of personal growth, including practical hands-on practice. The class allows students to experience giving and receiving Reiki treatments firsthand. They provide a holistic approach to healing and personal development, empowering individuals to connect with their inner wisdom, cultivate compassion and healing, and make positive changes in their lives and the lives of others.
