What is a Reiki Master? As a Reiki master, you can bring love and light to a world that often feels chaotic and full of darkness. Reiki is a form of energy or spiritual healing that reduces stress and promotes well-being and healing. Becoming a Reiki master requires progressing through  Reiki master training, gaining hands-on experience, and deepening your understanding of energy healing. Here’s an overview of the process of Reiki master training:

• Step 1: Learn Reiki Level 1 – Learn the foundations of Reiki and practice self-healing. You receive an energetic initiation (attunement in Usui Reiki, placement in Holy Fire Reiki) to connect with Reiki energy. This level is typically practiced on oneself and with family and friends as regular self-healing.
  • What You Learn:
    • The history and principles of Reiki.
    • How to channel Reiki energy through your hands.
    • Hand positions for self-healing and healing others.
    • Basics of auras and chakras.
• Step 2: Learn Reiki Level 2 – Strengthen Reiki energy, learn advanced healing techniques and practice distance Reiki. You receive another placement to activate the Reiki symbols. You can now charge for Reiki sessions and offer professional help to others. Most people practice Reiki Level 2 for six months to a year before moving to Master Level.
  • What You Learn:
    • Sacred Reiki symbols to enhance healing (such as the Power Symbol, Mental/Emotional Symbol, and Distance Healing Symbol).
    • How to send Reiki across time and space (Distance Reiki).
    • Techniques for clearing emotional and mental
    • How to conduct Reiki sessions.
• Step 3: Train in Reiki Master Level – Deepen your connection to Reiki and gain some mastery in energy healing. At this level, you receive the Master attunement (placement), which allows you to access higher-frequency Reiki energy.
  • What You Learn:
    • An Additional Master Symbol for more powerful healing.
    • Advanced energy-clearing techniques.
    • How to raise your vibration and strengthen your intuition.
    • More profound self-healing and spiritual growth.
• Step 4: Reiki Master Teacher Training – This level is included in Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki. Discover how to teach Reiki and attune or initiate new students. You receive additional attunements (ignitions) in this training, allowing you to pass Reiki energy to students. At completion, you can start teaching and initiating students into Reiki. Some Reiki Masters choose to teach immediately, while others wait until they feel fully prepared.

    • How to perform attunements or ignitions to pass Reiki to others.
    • Teaching methods for Reiki classes.
    • How to guide students on their healing journey.
    • Ethical and Professional Considerations for Teaching Reiki.

Using Reiki for healing the body, mind, and spirit is a hands-on technique in which practitioners use touch by drawing on Universal lifeforce energy. Because Reiki respects free will, we must invite Reiki to experience more remarkable healing.
