Reiki Energy Healing Utilizes Reiki Symbols
Energy healing focuses on tapping into the body’s own energy field to boost healing. In practice, we call on the spiritually guided life force energy that is from God, the Creator, the Universe. The “laying on of hands” is a method in which the practitioner places her hands on or over the body. The intention is to access these powerful energies in order to remove Byoki (blocked energy) to bring about healing.
Energy Blockage
Byoki, which is the term used to describe blocked energy, often appears in or around the organs in the body. To someone who can see energy, it appears as dark shapes that block the flow of energy. By activating the healing energy, the blockage is cleared. Reiki energy helps a person feel better – more relaxed, positive, and happy. Energy healing works well with all traditional types of therapies.
Effects of Life Choices
Our life choices affect our energy field. Eating lifeless food, environmental toxins, vaccines, medicines, chronic infections, surgeries and ancestral patterns affect our health. Unwanted energies often come in during times of distress. Problems that are often helped through energy healing are rebellion, addictions, some diseases, ancestral patterns and more.
Healing Spirit Attachments
This is a technique that Usui/Holy Fire Reiki uses to safely remove unwanted energy that has attached to a person. It heals the part of the person that allowed the energy to attach, releasing many problems of daily living. In this type of energy healing, we are calling on the power of God, the Holy Spirit, and Jesus to clear problems caused by lower vibrational attachments.

We use Reiki symbols to help us connect to a higher level of energy. The Power, Mental/Emotional and Distant Healing symbols are received by students of Reiki II class. When a practitioner activates the symbols, we become more connected to the source of Divine Guidance, intelligence, and power.
Attunement
A Placement, called an Attunement in some lineages of Reiki, empowers Reiki symbols. Through Placement, students at a Reiki class are given empowerment to the symbols and then the symbols amplify the Reiki energy.
