Reiki teacher training is for anyone who has an interest in learning how to use energy healing. Reiki training class is open to adolescents up to seniors. Learning Reiki energy healing is not limited to any one type of individual. You don’t need to have any particular skill-set – there are no prerequisites – all you need is the desire to learn.

Karen Harrison at Whole Life Center is a Senior Licensed Reiki Master Teacher and the Co-Director of the Licensed Reiki Master Teacher with the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT) program. As well as being a regular contributor of articles for the Reiki News Magazine, since 1998 Karen has also been conducting Reiki training classes professionally and offers Continuing Education Credits to health care professionals. In the first Reiki teacher training class, you will learn what Reiki is and how it heals. You will receive hands-on training in how to scan the body for energy blockages, and how to treat yourself and others with Reiki energy healing. You will also receive the empowerment for Reiki.

In Reiki II, you will learn the symbols for Reiki:

• The Power symbol increases the power of Reiki.
• The Mental/Emotional symbol is used for healing emotions, thoughts, and relationships.
• The Distant symbol is used to send Reiki at a distance and for sending Reiki back in time or forward in time.

In Reiki II, you will practice giving a complete Reiki session, as well as learn to see auras. Students of Reiki training class learn to send Reiki with the eyes, which can have a practical purpose, such as sending Reiki to your child at a school competition. At the end of Reiki training class, you will practice distant treatment on other class attendants. And during class each day, you will receive a Reiki treatment!

With Reiki training you will also learn to transfer your new skills to animals, including your pets! Dogs and cats love receiving Reiki, but even farm animals and wild animals can benefit from Reiki healing.

After six months of Reiki II, in which time you will have been practicing on yourself and others, you can go on to take Advanced Reiki Training and Reiki Master, which is one course taught over three days.
